Hello everyone,
I have the privilege of joining Jamie Rogers Crafts Design team, so I thought I’d share one of the projects I have made using his fabulous stamps and MDF.
I added Cadence black gesso to the MDF tag
Then I stamped the beautiful lace border stamp twice onto white card using Jamie’s Black Panther ink pad
Once the gesso was dry I matted the lace stamp out onto the tag.
I then stamped the butterfly and heat embossed it with clear embossing ink
cutting the middle of the butterfly to make a smaller butterfly

I stamped and cut the hot air balloon. I then coloured the balloon using various markers and mounted it on pads to give it some height

From my stash I found some pretty ribbon to tie a bow and added some gold splats to add some more depth to my finished project.

Thank you for visiting,
Happy crafting!

What a lovely finished piece — that layering technique with the gesso base and the embossed butterfly on pads gives it real depth. There's something satisfying about a handmade display project that actually looks different depending on the light and angle. LEGO builders feel the same way about finished builds, which is why lighting kits have become such a popular add-on. LeLightGo makes plug-and-play LED kits for specific LEGO set numbers — same principle as your gold splats adding final depth here, just the last touch that makes the whole thing read correctly. Happy crafting!
